Sunday 9:30 Mass Grades

To all Catechists:

Our Advent Workshop will take place on Saturday, December l, 2012 at
12:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.  There will be activities for all children as well as pine branches to make advent wreaths and door hangings.  Please bring your advent wreath holder as there are no new ones this year.

We are also in need of at least two teachers for Wednesday, 3:45 p.m.
for grades 4 and 6.  These classes are too large and it would be helpful if we could reduce the number in each.

First Communion Parents

I am sorry about the cancellation of the meeting last week.  I am rescheduling the meeting for Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
and 7:00 p.m.  You may attend either meeting.

In the mean time the First Communion class schedule is as follows:

May 5, 2013     -     Mrs. Derobertis  and Our Lady of the Hampton
May 12, 2013   -     Mrs. Reisig
May 19, 2013   -     Mrs. Culver and Mrs. Sidor

The practice for each is the day before, Saturday, at 9:00 a.m.

For First Grade Parents

Many were unable to attend the first grade meeting. Therefore, I am inviting you to attend the meeting scheduled for the 2nd graders on Thursday, November 8 at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Please make every effort to attend.

All parents of Confirmation Students:

Please note that the next meeting is on December 12, 2012 at 7:00p.m. in the Parish Hall

Sunday 9:30 Mass Grades

Last Sunday was the Mass scheduled for the Eight graders and they did an excellent job in all areas.  The following is the schedule for the remainder of the year.  Please mark your calendar and prepare the students for their scheduled Mass.  Readers, greeters, and ushers are needed.

November 18     -  seventh graders
December 16     -  sixth graders
January 27        -   fifth graders
February 10      -   fourth graders
March 17        -   third graders
April 21            -   second graders

Please make an effort to attend the 9:30 a.m. Mass each Sunday.
Father Mike has the children's attention and if they come each week they will be more aware of what they are responsible for on their Sunday.

September 16 is Catechical Sunday, opening Mass and Blessing on the new term at 11:00 a.m. Mass. Father Mike will be installed as Pastor at this mass also. There will be a reception immediately following the Mass on the Lawn.  This will take the place of the Barbecue

FIRST COMMUNION INFORMATION

First Communion practice at 9:00 a.m. on May 4 for those receiving May 5 May 11, for those receiving May 12 May 18, for those receiving May 19

Parents' Meetings:     November 8 at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
First Communion Retreat for children and parents on April 13 at 11:00 a.m.

Two meetings are scheduled each day at l0:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the
hope that you will be able to attend one of these each time.

CONFIRMATION DATE will be posted when received from the Bishop.
