Registration 2026-27

Welcome to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary online registration for Religious Education. We are so glad you are choosing to be a part of our program and partner with us to help pass the faith onto your children. In order to participate in our religious ed programming, all families should be registered in the parish. You may do so by downloading a copy of the parish census form here and emailing it to parishoffice@shjmbasilica.org.

Sacramental programs are a two year course of study. First Communion Preparation is Grade 1 & 2, Confirmation Preparation* is Grade 7 & 8. *In order to participate in our Confirmation program students must have completed religious ed classes for grades 1-6.

Registration will close on August 31st

2026-27 Religious Education Fees are as follows

Family Religious Education Program Fee $ 250 ($300 after Aug. 15th)

Per child class fee $ 50

Additional sacramental materials fee for grade 2 and 8 only - $75 (total $125/child with class fee

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept registrations at the door on the first day of classes.

Please be sure to add ALL of your children to your registration and then click on the CART icon located in the top right hand corner of your screen to checkout. Thank you!

Class times (you will choose one)

Wednesdays from 4-4:45 pm for grades 1-6, and from 7-7:45Pm for grades 7 & 8.

Sundays after the 9:30 Family Mass from 10:30 to 11:15 am for grades 1-8.

The total fee for the first child includes the Religious Education Family Program Fee of $250.00, plus the materials fee per grade level. The form submitted with the first child’s registration contains all of the family contact information. You will only be required to submit that data once. Thank you.

Child 3 registration includes the materials fee per grade.

You will be asked to acknowledge our class policies and procedures at the end of your registration form. *Please note our attendance policy limits absences to THREE per year. Failure to meet the minimum attendance requirement will result in a withdrawal from class.

Families new to the program registering for the first time should upload a copy of each child’s baptismal certificate below or email it to reled@shjmbasilica.org.
