Beginning Wednesday, may 14th, we’ll continue our reflections together on Gospel passages and events that demonstrate Jesus deep love for us, in His words, gaze and other actions. This will prepare us for the rich and evolving traditions of Catholic worship that we’ll explore in Chapter 3 in the months ahead. All sessions begin at 11am in the Seton Room at the Parish office.
mAY 14: ACTIONS THAT REFLECT THE HEART - JESUS SHOWS THE DEPTH OF HIS LOVE FOR US NOT BY LENGTHY EXPLANATIONS BUT BY CONCRETE ACTIONS.
MAY 21: jESUS’ GAZE - WE’LL EXAMINE THE POWER OF JESUS’ ATTENTION TO OTHERS PROBLEMS AND NEEDS, AND HOW HIS ATTENTION AND CONSIDERATION WERE AND LED TO TRUE ACTS OF COMPASSION.
MAY 28: JESUS’ WORDS - HOW DO JESUS’ WORDS SPEAK INWARDLY , TO OUR HEARTS? WHAT DO WE READ OF THE FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS OF JESUS IN THE GOSPELS?
